I'll stamp all over 'legitimate combatant' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be broadcast live on Netflix.

British boxer Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the pair met personally to promote next month's heavyweight fight.

Former two-time world title holder Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami venue on 19 December.

Fighter's Attitude

"I will break his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, said.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's what I want to do."

Respectful Exchange

Despite such comments, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Paul - normally famous for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.

Jake Paul instead criticized former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Fighter

In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's boxing ability.

"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.

Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.

He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.

Financial Success

Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's greatest financial successes, consistently making substantial paydays.

Forecast and Belief

The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in rounds four or five and claimed he would stop the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently in the works for 2026.

"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.

Physical Difference

As the two fighters engaged in the customary face-off, with their size difference clearly visible, it highlighted just how unlikely this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the match is truly proceeding.
